SOUTH CITY TOUR

3-6 Hours:
There are different ways to discover a City, and Buenos Aires being one of the great capitals of the world has many faces. We like to take a historical and orientational approach to it, allowing you to continue your own independent exploring later on. In this half day City Tour we'll cover all the basics of the Argentinian Capital City. Starting in the eldest neighborhood, we share the little-known true stories of colorful La Boca, wander through the original market area of San Telmo adding off-the-beaten-track ‘hoods and ending in the Plaza de Mayo, the cradle of Argentina where you can feel the intensity of events, past and present. Whether you choose to do it on foot and public transport or with private transportation we'll have the chance to see the many facets of the city and to feel how the city lives.

Jewish Heritage Tour

4-6 Hours:
Buenos Aires has the largest jewish community in Latin America and their heritage is still very much alive. The first Jews arrived long before the country was even named with the first spanish conquistadors fleeing the Spanish Inquisition. The Jewish population has a huge presence in Argentine culture and here you’ll be able to find a wide offer of kosher gastronomy including the only Kosher McDonalds outside of Israel. Your guide may be a local rabbi who lead a temple in Houston for over 15 years or a local historian who grew up in a traditional Jewish family and has heartwarming personal stories to share.

Tango Shows & Authentic Tango Nights Out

2-6 Hours:
Tango might very well be the trademark of Argentina and is much more than a style of music. Born from the mixture of african, gaucho and european roots deep in the “rioplatense” culture going back to the mid 1800, it has developed in a complex mix of art and a true expression of the Argentine point of view on life. You can choose from a full dinner show that you can enjoy from your table or our absolutely authentic Tango Night Out! Our excellent tango guide (imagine Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex and the City), can pick you up at 9pm to begin a real night out on the town. She'll tell you all about the history of tango, it's intriguing "underbelly" and fill you in on all of the insiders gossip. You’ll head right out to visit 2-3 local milongas (real dance halls) to see how the locals do it! We knows how to pick the right milongas on the right night and of course based on the vibe of the travelers.

Where no other guide will take you! See the true essence of Buenos Aires' neighborhood La Boca. There is so much more than the touristy Caminito but we even make that stop super cool. See street art, visit a police station with incredible art work, go inside cultural centers, walk the streets with the locals, eat in their corner cafes and experience the real 'hood, safely.

Everyone will tell you La Boca is fake and unsafe...but they haven’t been there with BA Cultural Concierge.

Evening Stroll through the Heart of the City

If we had a nickle for every tango song written about Buenos Aires at dusk, we’d be ricos! Imagine incredible Belle Epoque architecture with the streets (almost) all to ourselves. Our Buenos Aires night walk takes you through Recoleta, Retiro, El Centro and to Puerto Madero or Plaza de Mayo. Under the dim light of the street lamps and with the sun setting over the city, this is our most swoon-worthy tour. Of course, we'll drop you off at the best restaurant to finish it off.

Feria de Mataderos & Private Dinner at Chef’s House

4-6 Hours:
Our world-class sommelier guide will pick you up in a private vehicle and head off to the über-local Feria de Mataderos. There you’ll experience a community fair with folk music, dancing and lots of great crafts at low prices. There are many food stands where you’ll try local foods including vino patero & locro. Then you’ll head to the chefs house in this very off-the-beaten-track neighborhood.
This is not any old chef-- this chef does many of President Kristina Kirchner's events and mainly her asados. He is a unique Argentine-Italian and speaks no English but is super expressive with food and senses. The real host is his wife who speaks perfect English plus the guide is there for anything that’s lost in translation. The chef makes everything from scratch (chimi, berenjenas en escabeche, bread or focaccia, etc). You’ll start with a picada (charcuterie) and a wine tasting with specially chosen boutique wines. If the you don’t finish the bottles you can take them with you! While the chef is doing the asado, he shows the guests how it is all done and it's very hands on. Adventurous foodies can try mollejas and the "weird" stuff or you can stick to the traditional vacio, asado, etc. He is also a pastry chef and makes a killer dessert.
