There is nothing Madi and her team can't make happen
Madi and Juan are amazing. They are super knowledgeable about the city and its history, know all the cool nooks and crannies, and are just delightful. Also, there is nothing Madi and her team can't make happen. Whatever you're looking for from your BA experience--itineraries, tours, projects, special requests--let these guys be your guides.

This company is all about service
I discovered BA Cultural Concierge in Lonely Planet. Luck was with me that day! Working together via email, Madi and I developed an ideal itinerary. Communication was always prompt before and during our trip. Once in country their services were invaluable -from the tours they arranged, to the accommodations they suggested. Having Madi and Juan available via What's App saved our trip on several occasions. First when we were placed on a small group tour without an English guide and second when our debit cards were lost. I texted Madi and the problems were resolved quickly. This company is all about service. Anyone thinking about traveling to Argentina should contact them. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Insight into Argentine art world
I had planned to spend only a few days in Buenos Aires and was eager to gain insight into Buenos Aires Art Wolrd.
The Art tour booked with BA Cultural Concierge perfectly met my needs! Not only Madi was really responsive to my enquiry and helpful, but also Natalia, during the Tour (Malba Museum, Casa Cavia, Palermo galleries), was the perfect Art Guide to spend time with. She is friendly, a full-time artist, and no doubt she knows how to adapt the Tour to your taste & artistic background. Thank you! Nathalie

Smart and sincere
Juan was knowledgeable of BA, and tailored well the 7 hour walking tour for a group of 6 of us from Asia. He was enthusiastic, and made an excellent effort to take us to places and see items he knew would be of interest to us. He was entertaining, communicated well and had the pace just right. A smart and sincere tour guide all 6 of us at end of tour would not hesitate to highly recommend. Well done Juan - keep it up ! Raymond from HK

The best tour guide
We had 2 half day tours with Juan. He was friendly, informed, funny, and very knowledgeable about Buenos Aires. One of the days was in the rain and Juan scheduled our stops to accommodate the weather. He was the best tour guide we have ever had.

How to have the perfect holiday
We recently traveled to Argentina with another couple to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversaries. From our first email to our final adios Madi and her team went out of their way to make our holiday a special experience, and one completely free of stress and hassle. They consistently went above & beyond to ensure our trip exceeded our expectations. Here are some examples: meeting us at the airport and giving us an overview on BA, Juan spending a day in line-up to get us the BEST seats in the house at Teatro Colon, getting us "in" at the most fabulous restaurants and clubs, booking us into top-notch lodging (every place we stayed was spectacular), putting us in touch with other tour providers who also provided amazing experiences (for Futbol & Uruguayan wine tours), city tours with a completely personalized touch (like attending to our caffeine needs at a beautiful roof-top terrace cafe), and spot-on suggestions on where to shop, eat, and dine. If you're going to the time and effort to invest in a holiday, this service is a SMALL additional investment that will ensure your experience in BA will be "perfecto." Thank you Madi, Juan & Nestor! We can't wait to visit you again!

Everything Went Incredibly Smoothly
I first contacted BA concierge service after looking for travel companies to help plan part of our trip to South America. After emailing quite a few BA was the only one that was flexible and allowed us to tailor make our trip. Madi was always on hand to help with ideas and listened to us in terms of budget etc. Responses were always quick and when we actually got to all of our hotels they were beautiful and each one was special in it's own way, giving the best experience of the area we were in. The company specialise in Buenos Aires but helped us with travel arrangements and hotels around Argentina and Chile. We have just finished this leg of our trip and everything went incredibly smoothly. Would definitely recommend contacting them if you are planning a trip to this beautiful part of the world!

Engaging, Informative and Funny
My wife and I had one of the best personalized City tours ever. Juan was engaging, informative and funny. We enjoyed ourselves so much that our 2.5 hour tour became 5 hours, ending at a cafe over beers.. He met us at our apartment and we took a taxi to La Boca. We hit every neighborhood in BA. His English is as good as ours, and his knowledge and love of his city is honest. I highly recommend their services.

Prompt & Thoughtful
I researched Tripadvisor for a tour guide in Buenos Aires and am so glad I came upon Madi Lang. She is not only a fantastic guide but a true concierge for your stay in Buenos Aires. We spent 3 days in Buenos Aires before our cruise ship's departure. I emailed Madi many times prior to our arrival and she took care of everything with many excellent suggestions. She arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport (at half the price we would have paid a taxi or our hotel) also took us to our ship on the last day and drove us for our tour with Madi. Madi gave us an excellent full day tour of the different areas of Buenos Aires. She is very pleasant and knowledgable, a real sweetheart to spend the day with. Clearly she loves Buenos Aires and wants to share that with you. This was our first time to visit Buenos Aires so we had LOTS of questions before we arrived - where to stay, what to do, where to eat, etc. Madi is very prompt to answer emails and had many thoughtful suggestions. She made dinner reservations, tango show reservations, and arranged for us to visit 3 milongas at night with a tango dancer. We left Buenos Aires with a feeling that we had experienced this wonderful city. If you are going to Buenos Aires - RUN, do not walk to your computer and enlist Madi's services for your visit ( madi.lang@gmail.com). You will not be sorry. She also has a website - www.BACulturalConcierge.com

Perfect, Exactly What We Asked For & More
We asked Madi for a non-standard tour of BA. Madi came thru with one of the most intriguing tours we’ve ever had. From our late night Tango tour, that lasted to the wee hours to our tour of BA the next day. Madi’s choices were exactly what we had asked for. For a while my husband and I felt we were on one of those food TV shows. You know the sort of one where the lead character gets to travel to far off locations. They get to see and do all those special activities. You know the sort of activities we all wish we could do when traveling to new places. Well, we did them and we enjoyed it all. I wish we could bottle Madi and have her available in all the places we travel to. Nuff said, Thank you Madi.

First-Rate
We were finishing a cruise in BA with two friends, and Madi Lang arranged a personal tour with a local guide and tango dancer! We saw places that would not have been on any tour, and spent the day of our late-night flight home at an estancia outside the city - beautiful, relaxing and very welcoming. The touring vehicles were first-rate, and making arrangements was easy. Madi paid attention to our wishes and needs, and added her own knowledge to make the experience great. Use BA Cultural Concierge when visiting Buenos Aires!

Phenomenal
Madi Lang customized our tour to match our interests after speaking with us for only a few minutes. She took us to see places we would never had known about and could not have asked to be included in our tour. She is charming and gracious which nakes her the perfect guide, My husband and I are not easy to guide as we have travelled enough to be a bit skeptical of tours. Madi never gave us the feeling that we were hearing the same words she said to each tour or seeing the same places she showed to everyone. We toured with Madi for two days and were excited to see and hear what she presented to us. I really put her to the test as I had brought heavier tops than the weather required. She took me to find some tops that were at great boutiques and were in a plus size and on sale. Combine that with the history and architecture and culture that she presented to us and you really have OUR perfect trip. She will create YOUR perfect trip with you.

Seeing Buenos Aires the Right Way
If you will be visiting BA you MUST contact BA Cultural Exchange and seek out Mady! Fantastic! First off, she is responsive and if you are familiar with the culture you know that is not a given! Second, she is knowledgeable and passionate. Third, she is flexible, friendly and delivers information conversationally. No lectures, just sharing and she has a lot to share. Mady is by far the best guide we have had in all our travels. Highly recommend her.

Invaluable On-Ground Assistance
Besides organizing a great half-day tour of BA, customized for my mother (who has mobility issues) Madi also proved how invaluable it is to have someone on the ground who can help when problems arise. I had arranged a transfer from our hotel to the cruise ship terminal in BA, and the morning of our transfer there was a major fire at the cargo portion of the port - with toxic smoke, the port in lockdown mode and lots of confusion. Madi came to our hotel, helped assess the situation and then got us to the port when she was sure things were safe. The majority of our fellow shipmates, who relied on the cruise ship company for info and transfers, had a much more frustrating experience.

The Trip Was Perfect
It was our first trip to South America and BA was definitely on our list. My wife found Madi while searching the web and we now realize how lucky a find this was for us. Madi asked all the right questions and got to know us well before the planning began. We were traveling with our two daughters (4 & 8) and we obviously needed to keep them entertained. She had a ton of great suggestions and we narrowed the trip down to some specific events that gave us just the right amount of arranged appointments and free time to roam the city. The attractions and people she set us up with were all fantastic, we loved them all and felt we made friends along the way. We left BA for Chile where we had done our own planning and this leg of the trip was no where near as cool as what we had with Madi at the lead. If only she had been our Concierge in Chile... The trip was a perfect and we truly thank Madi for her role in making it happen. Our family is a big fan of BA Cultural Concierge! This is how travel should be!

Madi Knows Buenos Aires
Our July 7, 2012 tour started with Madi laying out a map of the city on a table and orienting us to what we would see during the day. The perspective she brings is one of a rich understanding of the history of the country and the city. She then very nicely wraps the tour into this historical context. Madi was able to answer all of our questions, make changes on the fly as our interests shifted during the tour (6 hours on our feet), and her energy level remained high throughout. I left feeling as if the day was very solid, I saw things I wanted to see, I saw things I never would have seen on my own, and that if I ever came back, I could likely navigate BA a little bit more comfortably on my own. If you're coming to BA, call Madi!

We’re Fans
We just returned from a 3+ week trip around Argentina and had found Madi through a referral and twitter. We have 3 kids (6,4,1.5) so wanted some help and Madi over delivered. She helped us figure out our whole itinerary, booked all the inter-country travel, found apartments, arranged transfers with a car seat, booked a stroller for the city, shopped so when we arrived we had some basics for the kids. She knows a ton about the country and Buenos Aires so even though we didn't do any formal tours, we learned a lot. Beyond the basics, she found a friend that cooked us Asado at the apartment's BBQ on the terrace, figured out great spots for the kids - hands on science museum, babysat so we could go to a tango show on our last night.... I could go on and on! Great job BA Cultural Concierge! If you are traveling to Argentina, you need to contact Madi, we're fans.

"We never would have found this great place without Madi!"
Thank goodness a friend recommended that we contact Madi to plan our 5 days in Buenos Aires! Madi listened to our interests, asked great questions, then helped us plan a great trip. She planned our days in ways that made good sense, worked well, and took account of distances and holiday closings. We ate in fabulous restaurants, usually the only tourists in the place. She planned an art and gallery-browsing day for me and my husband that was wonderful, right in keeping with our interests. My teen daughters and I had 2 great afternoons shopping in great neighborhoods - we kept saying "we never would have found this great place without Madi!". Although she was out of town when we were there, she was always available and her wonderful partner, Jed, took great care of us. Thought, she was delightful, responsive, a pleasure to work with. We heartily recommend Madi!!!!

Gorgeous Guys & Hospital Help
I was in Buenos Aires for 4 days December, 2010. I found the service on Trip Advisor and was so happy I did. Madi Lang, the concierge is a young woman from Baltimore who move to BA 4-5 years ago and started the business. She is smart, personable, and a terrific person. She helped me figure out what I wanted to see, arranged an airport transfer with this gorgeous guy (not necessary but very nice), and was overall welcoming. The first day we walked for 4 hours, San Telmo, Recoleta, took the old subway car, and had lunch. Walking back to the hotel I tripped. Blood was down my slacks. She went with me to the hotel, where I was bandaged, and took me to the German Hospital. She stayed with me the entire time and translated. Nothing broken but I needed stitches. The hospital wouldn't accept my credit card without a passport and I had minimal cash. Madi went back to my hotel and retrieved my passport. After the hospital she shepherded me to a brace store and helped procure a brace for my leg. Cancellation of remainder of tours. Madi called that night to see if I was OK, and had another georgeous guy stop by the next day to make sure I was fine. She had given him a book and an Argentinian book of photos to give to me. The third day Madi came back to the hotel, picked me up and got a cab, taking me back to the German Hospital for a look-see at my knee. Again, she did this on her own time despite my protestations. When I returned home I received a message from her just checking. I can only hope others meet Madi Lan, truly an exceptional human being. Without her presence, my time in Buenos Aires would have been scary. I recommend her to a visitor without exception. I cannot wait to return to BA, and reconncect with her.

La Boca, an amazing surprise
BA Cultural Concierge Tours led a walking tour of La Boca neighborhood, and it was a great way to learn about the history and culture of this part of Buenos Aires.
On a rainy Sunday, our guide - Juan - took a group of 5 into el Caminito for our necessary tourist photos, but also took us behind the scenes into the neighborhood's interior.
As we went, Juan stopped and used the murals and graffiti as a launching point to discuss the history of immigration and the working class in La Boca. Juan took all of our group's questions, and made sure to weave our conversations into discussions of common themes throughout the tour.
As a result, I left with a sense of how La Boca fits into the broader picture of Buenos Aires and Argentina. More than I expected, and highly recommended.

It was a perfect ending to a perfect day
My husband and I and another couple arrived in Buenos Aires at 830 AM from a cruise. Our flight didn't leave until 930 PM so we booked a full day in Buenos Aires with BA Cultural Concierge Tours. Nestor met us at the cruise port with a driver and large, comfortable van which accommodated all of our luggage. He was wonderful. We saw all the highlights, walked two street markets, had an empanada lunch at a local cafe and after touring all morning and afternoon, stopped for ice cream. We went to his favorite book store that had been a theatre. So beautiful and interesting. Lastly, we went to a "central park". It was a beautiful Sunday and all the locals were out enjoying the paddle boats, rose garden, playing soccer .and just enjoying the park. It was a perfect ending to a "perfect day." I highly recommend BA Cultural Concierge and especially recommend Nestor.

The Ultimate BA Fixer
To say that we hit the jackpot with Madi and BACC is an understatement.
We're not fans of the typical hotel/tour bus/ concierge approach to travel and were looking for a more local, authentic and young experience. So I reached out to a bunch of people asking for recommendations on someone who we could hire as a 'fixer' or independent concierge. From the first email with Madi to our goodbyes, we found everything to be truly spectacular. Some highlights:
- Help picking out an awesome AirBnB in the best neighborhood in the city. Check.
- Personally greeting my partner at the airport knowing that she was arriving solo. Yup.
- Cash exchange services - in person at your apartment / hotel @ the best possible rates. Done.
- 24/7 WhatsApp access to help with figuring out last minute plans, reservations. Yes!
- A world-class itinerary where locals who live in BA said:"Whoa, how did you know about THAT?!". Oh yeah.
- Great taste in food with excellent recommendations. Double yeah.
- Minor medical issue? Madi: "We're on it!" Problem solved in 1 hour.
- Locals only tour with a cultural anthropologist who loves people and history? That would be Juan, one of Madi's partners.
- Best ice scream spots in the city? Madi: "Here's a list." And yeah, it was some of the best ice cream we have ever had.

A destination birthday party
My partner and I decided to celebrate our joint birthdays with a vacation and party in Buenos Aires. We invited friends a year out with the thinking that maybe 10 folks might join if we were lucky. As the "confirmed" count climbed above 25, we knew it was time to engage a professional.
From the first consultation on the phone to the flawless execution of a week of hospitality and events, to the follow-up after, Madi and her network of partners far exceeded our expectations. In the end, Madi and her team took care of over 35 people, providing bespoke arrangements and hospitality for each based on their wishes and needs, and created an inspiring and incredible party none of our guests will soon forget - all created and curated with an impeccable eye and taste level.
Madi was personally invested in creating stress-free experience, and the ultimate happiness of our guests. She and her team were accountable and communicative, and passionate about sharing all that Buenos Aires has to offer.

Personalized experiences designed for our whole family.
Madi is an Expat from the US. Not knowing anything about BA and where to start, she designed our 4 days there with each of our grown children and our interests in mind. Tango lessons, cooking class of regional cuisine, bike tour of parks and monuments, private restaurants for New Year’s Eve and a thorough history of the city and it's politics. She helped make it not only a memorable experience but a highly educational one as well.
My wife and I were travelling with our two grown sons and daughter-in-law. We wanted more than just the sights, but to experience the city as much as possible in 4 days. Overall, I highly recommend Madi and her contacts: from hotel recommendations, to dinners at smaller "private" restaurants, to specialized activities. One of her guides even helped us purchase SIM cards for our cell phones and exchange money at most favorable rates.

BA Cultural Concierge Absolutely Made the Trip
My husband, 9 year old son, and I just returned from Buenos Aires and BA Cultural Concierge absolutely made the trip. By the end of the week Madi felt like a trusted friend, not a tour guide. So much so that when we left for Iguazu Falls our son kept saying "I wish Madi was here to tell us about that." or sometimes just "I miss Madi." Her love for the city and country she has made her home are obvious, and we were able to experience Buenos Aires in a way that would never have been possible without her. The experience was so amazing that our original walking tour and day in El Tigre turned into multiple days of additional personalized tours, fun, food, history and laughter. And when we missed our flight from Iguazu and were suddenly at risk of missing our international flight home, she jumped into action letting the driver she had arranged know and making sure that we had the best chance possible of making the flight (which, thankfully, we did).Whether you are a seasoned world traveler, or this is your first trip abroad, you simply cannot do better than BA Cultural Concierge. Thank you Madi for the amazing memories, we cannot wait to see you again.

My family used BA Cultural Concierge when we came to BA in April for three days. This was our first trip to Buenos Aires, so decided to leave it all up to Juan our amazing tour guide. Juan did a fantastic job taking us around giving us a history of BA and catering for our needs as we had our 4yr old boy with us. He is still asking when we will see his friend Juan again. Juan also helped us with recommendations of were to eat, shop and organised all our pick ups and drop offs at Airports. Idyllic 5 Day Visit
If your first language is English, and you are spending more than a few days in Buenos Aires, then you absolutely must make contact with Madi. Ultra professional, and a pleasure to deal with, Madi helped us organise an idyllic 5 day visit. Our first full day was spent on a private tour, concentrating on La Boca and San Telmo. This was the best introduction to Buenos Aires. Madi was always available to help with any issues that arose, and actually saved us money. I highly recommend BA cultural concierge as an essential itinerary planner for Buenos Aires.

An Unforgettable Experience!
I found out about this service from trip advisor but note that it's also mentioned in the Lonely Planet guide book. All arrangements were made with Madi by e mail and although we never actually met she was always prompt with replies and advice. I was interested in guided tours, the Sunday fairs and photographing major sites. All of this was addressed and more! Madi hooked me up with Juan who was absolutely brilliant. I have nothing but praise for him. He was friendly, knowledgeable and made the city come alive.....as promised. On my second outing we went to the Mataderos fair which was so interesting, followed up by the fair at San Telmo to catch the inevitable tango...... amongst other things. Both were really different and I feel Juan and I became firm friends rather than tour guide and customer. I particularly liked trying the street food on offer as well as getting close to the locals. His understanding of the city's history also made my city tour fly by. Madi also arranged for a "photography lesson/tour" with Foto Ruta. Joss was my guide/teacher for the day. Madi and Joss made sure I didn't visit the same sites twice. This made such an impression that I decided to take a similar tour/lesson in Santiago the next week. My whole BA trip was a joy. If you can afford it, seriously give the BA Cultural Concierge a whirl. You won’t be disappointed!

Madi is quick to respond, listens then creates a tour to meet your interests and time frame. We contacted her at the last minute plus had a short window for touring the city. She is informative, fun, hits the highlights and makes the most out of your tour. Outstanding with Kids!
We had never been to Buenos Aires (or Argentina for that matter) and we would have been completely lost without BA Cultural Concierge. Madi and Juan were absolutely remarkable and helped us achieve a vacation that we'll always remember. Even though we took our girls (4 years old and one year old) with us, we came away from the vacation feeling like we achieved a true couples time away. Madi designed our program so that we and our girls could enjoy family time during the day, while at night we went on "couples retreat" type activities. Our daughters took to Juan like family they had known for a long time and could not wait for him to return everyday. We left Argentina knowing we had gained new friends in Madi and Juan. We also resolved that if they ever expand outside of Argentina, we would be very happy to engage them to help us if they are in the countries we are visiting.

No-Problem, Can-Do Professionalism
Madi Lang, based in Buenos Aires, organized our entire trip to BA. We are a family with a 10 year old and my mother and Madi proved invaluable in organizing tours, transfers and accommodating the needs of a multi-generational family. Honeymoon Heaven
If you are going to BA you need to book Madi!! She is absolutely awesome. My husband and I visited buenos aires as part of our honeymoon while touring around South America. She was the only "concierge" service we booked so I was a little sceptical as to what her service entailed. I cannot believe now that I would have ever considered not booking her. Not only is she reasonably priced but she saved us so much time with five laid out days of itineraries (including some down time) and saved us money by recommending restaurants where locals eat. Without us knowing she requested that we have the most romantic seat in each restaurant and some restaurants even gave us a complimentary glass of prosecco when Madi told them thst we were on honeymoon! She arranged a trip to Uruguay, futbol a tango show and so much more for us. Her tour of the city was refreshing and interesting. She also dropped us in a local phone and arranged airport transfers for us. She was on the email to me constantly during our stay answering my many last minute queries. She also was quick to reply to my many emails prior to our visit. I really cannot recommend her highly enough.

The Perfect Trip for My Husband’s Big Birthday
I was trying to plan the perfect trip for my husband's "big" birthday but between throwing a surprise party, work and other demands, it seemed impossible. I found Madi on Trip Advisor listed with other tour options. Could I have planned our own trip? Yes Would it have been fun? Yes. I would have used the Tripadvisor selections and had a good time. Would it have been as perfect? No. Madi is able to customize your experience so it fits your personality, budget and energy level. Our experience was awesome and she was just an email or phone call away to make last minute adjustments and to help us navigate through the city. We are very experienced travelers but she is an expert on the city, the sites and the surrounding areas. She sent a pre-trip check list that included a reading list, packing tips and other helpful ideas. We corresponded through e-mail and Skype before the trip and she sent a day by day itinerary that was easy to follow and very thorough. I was able to pre-pay using PayPal for most of the excursions which took away the stress of changing money and carrying cash. I recommend Madi and her crew of guides. You won't be disappointed.

Glorious Solo Travel Experience
I was traveling alone to BA to visit my daughter, a college student doing a semester abroad in BA (what a great choice!) I knew I would have 4 full days entirely on my own so I contacted Madi when I found her website, only a few days before I left for my trip. Madi was very responsive, even though she was on vacation herself. Everything she arranged for me was as promised. The tours, transportation and day trips were exactly as we discussed and I enjoyed each one. The traveler tips were great especially since I speak no Spanish and was traveling on my own. My daughter and I tried 3 of the restaurants Madi recommended near my hotel, all were excellent and fun. Madi customized the trip for me, based upon my interests. I cannot say enough about how she helped me get the most out of my trip. Everyone I met who knows Madi (tour guides, wine expert, etc.) have the highest respect for her efforts to show the place she has come to love to others. Hire Madi!

An Extraordinary Vacation
This was our first trip to Buenos Aires and we were very excited. We had read all of the guidebooks and knew generally what we wanted to do, but we still had questions… And then through pure serendipity, we met somebody who referred us to Madi Lang at BA Cultural Concierge. Madi was able to assist our planning and make us feel much more confident about some of our choices. More importantly, she was able to suggest a number of alternatives that only a ‘native’ would be aware of. Once arriving in BA and meeting Madi, it was immediately obvious that she loves the country and makes an ongoing effort to learn more about the Argentine people and history to spice up her tours with interesting facts. And yet Madi is a US citizen with an office near Washington, DC. This made it much easier to send deposits and prepay certain aspects of our trip. Madi Lang was the difference between having a very good trip and having an extraordinary experience that we will remember our whole lives. Thank you Madi!

We couldn’t have asked for more!
B.A. Cultural Concierge was recommended to us as we prepared for a trip to Buenos Aires. We were to be in Buenos Aires for 6 days and we wanted to make sure we made the most of our time. We did quite a bit of research about the city and had a good idea as to what we wanted to do, but we were looking for advice on hotels, areas to stay, etc. We contacted Madi and, from the start, we were extremely pleased by her suggestions. She understood that we had a pretty good idea of what we wanted to do, and offered us a package that complimented our plans perfectly. We spoke with and emailed her about 5 times before arriving in Buenos Aires and, each time, she had a new suggestion or idea that fit perfectly into what we were planning. When we arrived, we did a city tour with Madi that was absolutely fantastic. We visited a number of areas by foot, taxi and subway, and she provided a fascinating historical and cultural perspective on each area that we visited. She also booked us for some neat things that we wouldn’t have even thought of, like a closed-door restaurant at a chef’s house! When a minor problem arose, she was able to dealt with and resolved quickly and effectively. Madi was able to key into exactly what we wanted to do and plan our itinerary around that. As a result, we made the most of our time in Buenos Aires and had a great time. We couldn’t have asked for more! We can’t recommend her highly enough!
